Description / construction: Seat & back in synderme, reinforced with a non-stretch backing. A chromed zip to the rear is partly for aesthetic reasons, but also as a means of detaching the cover from the metal frame. ‘ Sleigh’ feet in brilliant-chromed steel. Also available in natural cow-hide, seat & back in black, white & brown natural cowhide, in the same spirit as the Marguerite rug. The fact that each cowhide is different makes each Fil chair completely unique. Designer: 1957: Began his studies at the école Boulle, at the age of 14-&-a-half. 1988: Exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London. 1996: Awarded the Grand Prix National de la Création Industrielle du Ministère de la Culture. 1997: Designed In Fine for Cinna. & in 2000 Smala for Cinna. Label VIA 2000 IF Design Award & Red Dot Best of the Best 2001. 2007: Designed Pas si Classique for Cinna.
