Description:
Piazza offers a top cut in an elegant & original elliptical shape with one straight side
- thus enabling it to be pushed against a wall when not in use, a clever space-saving trick. Just pull it out from the wall to seat four persons around its 90 x 68 cm top.
Base & stem in Epoxy lacquered steel. Piston barrel in brilliant-chromed steel with operating lever. Top in 15 mm thick clear toughened glass with polished edge, accommodating up to 4 persons.
The height of the top is continuously adjustable from 75.5 cm to 100.7 cm (from dining table height to bar table height
- for use with the Pam, Jolie or La Pliée bar stools).

Michael:
Michael was born in Aachen in 1971, to a Dutch mother & a German father. He grew up in the part of Germany which borders the Netherlands & Belgium. Michael's grandfathers were skilled craftsmen, so he became acquainted with all kinds of materials at an early age & loved making & creating all kinds of things.
After school Michael trained to become a cabinet maker. He studied design in Aachen, where he gained an honours degree. One year later, at the age of 27, he started work as a lecturer at the University of Aachen, teaching product development.
During this time Michael started work on his own projects with small German design labels such as Details & Freiraum. After his first booklet mailing in 1999, Michael came to the attention of Habitat & Ligne Roset. These were the first major international companies he worked for, & they have remained loyal clients.
For several years now, Michael has had his own studio in Hamburg, where he moved to after starting a family. Michael, his Turkish wife & their two daughters, live in the northern part of Hamburg.
