Description: To celebrate his 60th birthday, Claude Pompidou presented her friend Pierre Boulez with a rocking armchair, which she had commissioned from Pierre Paulin. Working with Pierre Paulin’s original drawings Ligne Roset decided to put the rocking chair - originally a private commission of which only two pieces were ever made - into production for the very first time. Derive 2 was chosen in homage to Pierre Boulez, being the name of one of his musical works. Designer: Didier Gomez
