The T8 Surface Fluorescent with Diffuser is the very fitting you need when the situation calls for a 2 foot square fluorescent light fitting mounted directly to the ceiling. This neat & unobtrusive luminaire comes with a prismatic diffuser to provide an even spread of eye-friendly light from its four High Frequency, 18 Watt, T8 fluorescent tubes (not included).
Tubes are sold separately to enable you to choose the most suitable tubes for your requirements from the wide variety of T8 tubes available. For example you may require a very intense illumination or a softer more restful light. You may or may not wish to use dimmer switches. If you do then you need to make sure that you specify the correct type of tube as not all tubes are dimmable.
