The SMT 500 AE multi-tool from Stiga has a 500w brushed motor that can be powered by the 2 Ah, 4 Ah or 5 Ah 500 Series batteries. Ideal for pruning & cutting tall shrubs, hedges & trees, this multi-tool can reach up to 2.95m with the hedge trimmer attachment & up to 2.57m with the pruner attachment. The hedge cutter attachment is equipped with a 44cm double sided blade that can be angled to trim along hedge tops & the pruner attachment has a 25cm (10") guide bar & chain.  Working times of the machine will vary according to which attachment is used & the cutting conditions. When using the 2 Ah battery, which is the recommended size for this machine, the battery should deliver Approx. 40 minutes of run time when using the hedge trimmer attachment & 90 cuts through 10cm branches with the pruner attachment.  The 500 Series tools are all compatible with Stiga's 500 Series batteries & chargers.
