The side discharge Mountfield 2448H-SD has a 118cm cutting width & hydrostatic drive transmission. Using the hydrostatic drive is just like driving an automatic car. No gears, just press down on the foot pedal to go then ease off the pedal to slow down. The 118cm side discharge cutter deck fitted to the 2448H-SD is constructed from thickened steel with lateral structural re-inforcements & uses 3 untimed cutter blades with premium pulleys & a Kevlar reinforced belt. Six anti-scalp wheels help the deck to ‘float’ over the ground so the blades don’t scalp or tear the grass. The triple blades are set in the best position for the most effective side discharge cut. The cutting heights can be adjusted through 7 positions from 30
- 90mm.  The Briggs & Stratton V-twin engine delivers a powerful 724cc so tackling tough terrain & stubborn growing areas is no problem.
