Hayter Harrier 48 AD VS BBC Roller Mower
The Hayter Harrier 48 Autodrive Variable Speed BBC (475A) roller mower has a few more practical features than the basic model in the 48cm Harrier range. Hayter’s Vari-Pitch™ cutting technology and two piece ribbed rear roller will produce a fine, striped cut and finish. With this model Hayter have improved the working design of the deck, blade and grass collector.The addition of a BBC or blade, brake, clutch stops the blade from turning allowing you to move the mower across paths and gravel without having to turn the engine off. The drive is still engaged so no effort is needed to push the mower. This also reduces time spent restarting the mower when emptying the grass bag. The rear roller is constructed of reinforced polymer with glass-fibre weave, this gives increased strength
and durability, also noise and weight will be decreased when travelling across hard surfaces without any loss of performance. The 2 piece ribbed, roller design gives excellent traction and allows you to cut right up to the edge of lawn borders without tipping.The Harrier 48 Autodrive VS matches your walking pace and travels comfortably at a speed of 1.8 to 3.3mph. The 475 is designed to maintain small to medium lawns (approx. 40m x 40m).Hayter have fitted the 475 with a new Briggs & Stratton® EXi Series engine.
