Cobra M48SPS 48 cm self-propelled four wheel mower with a Subaru engine & aluminium cutting deck. Cobragarden have produced a range of Pro gardening equipment for the serious domestic or commercial gardener. Designed in the UK & built for the British market the Cobra Professional range of lawnmowers include 4 wheeled & full width rear roller models with either a Honda or Subaru petrol engines. The Cobra Pro range has several features not included in their basic range of lawn mowers. The Cobra M48 SPS is a 2-speed 19 inch cut four wheel lawnmower powered by a Subaru EA190V OHC four stroke engine & featuring a Blade Brake Clutch. Shaft driven mowers do not use belts or chains & can be used for longer periods in more intense conditions. A blade brake clutch or BBC allows lets the user stop the cutting blades turning but keeps the engine running. Normally you have to stop a mowers engine to empty the grass box or to remove obstacles & debris from the lawn. Fan assisted collection acts like a vacuum drawing the cuttings up into the collector more effectively. This feature is useful in wet & damp cutting conditions and also for collecting garden debris like leaves.  Select from 7 cutting height adjustments on the Cobra M48SPS from 16 – 76mm with the simple to use height levers. Select the highest setting for the 1st seasons cut or for mowing longer grass then gradually ease down through the adjustments for the lowest, final cut.
