Giesta is the personal project of Nuno Cancela de Abreu, a fourth-generation winemaker with a life-long passion for the traditional native grape varieties of the D o region. Its a blend of estate-grown Touriga Nacional, chosen for its ripe floral character, Tinta Roriz (aka Tempranillo), & Jaen, for its fruit & spice. This wine has a wonderful natural freshness, with floral highlights & succulent, ripe red fruit. Smooth, easy drinking on its own & just right for rich winter casseroles & Summer grills.
