Our sleeping bags are therefore now designed to meet this new standard, which is why you will notice that the neckline widths are now smaller & the thickness of the lining is also less important.. •  A TOG rating is a laboratory test that indicates the thermal resistance of the sleeping bag & is rated from 1 to 10.
