Product Description

Parsnip Arrow (Pastinaca sativa) has slender, bayonet shaped roots, is virtually coreless & tender & sweet. Sow regularly for fresh roots throughout the summer & autumn. Tasty, sweet & juicy when harvested as baby roots. Parsnip Arrow is ideal in deeper containers or outside in the garden. Sow seeds from March to May. Parsnip is excellent for boiling & added in stews, soups & casseroles & can be fried roasted or eaten raw as snacks. Parsnips are a good source of energy boosting carbohydrates & are high in Vitamin C & potassium.
