The original image has been hand painted by Cartographic Artist Richard Chandler & depicts all the 114 Wainwright OUTLYING fells. The aerial map of the Lake District is beautifully illustrated, easy to read & unlike a conventional map, gives a unique & colourful perspective of the landscape.

An ideal gift for any avid Lakeland hill walkers or Wainwright bagger.

  • Each summit is indicated with colour coded numbered pin symbols to correspond with the classic pictorial guides published by the legendary A. Wainwright.
  • The map also has a summit tick & date list for the user to fill in their achievements.  Summit heights are in feet as stated in the second edition of The Outlying Fells of Lakel&. The height in Metres is a conversion of the original heights calculated at 0.3048 metres to 1 foot.
  • Map scale: Variable (birds eye view)
