It's now possible to achieve a considerable fitting time saving when fitting self closing doors where you would traditionally fit hinges & a chain closer. The adjustable spring hinges featured here will close a door in a similar fashion to a chain type closer; sprung closing action without checking action. If a controlled closing action is required then you should fit standard hinges & an overhead closer as featured elsewhere on the website or in our catalogue.

The self closing spring tension can be disengaged by the removal of a small grub screw, allowing the door to swing freely, if it is no longer required to be a fire resisting door.
