Take the very best driving roads in Wales put some pristine classic cars on them & you’ve got yourself a rather fabulous classic car road trip. Get ready to experience English & Welsh countryside at its very best from the window of several classic cars.
This road trip around Wales isn’t just a case of jump in a classic car & off you go it’s more of a road rally as you head out in a small group with a carefully selected fleet of fine cars. At various stopping points along the way you change cars. By the end of this 190-mile round trip you’ll have driven five different cars on some pretty challenging roads.
You’ll meet your fellow classic car fans at the road trip’s starting point in Redditch. It’s an early start as you’ve got an itinerary covering ten hours but there will still be time to introduce yourselves & have a chat over some breakfast goodies. All fuelled up & ready to go (both you & the cars) it’s time to jump in the first of five cars of the day & head off.
The first stretch of this road trip you takes you towards Wales through lovely Ludlow skirting past the Shropshire Hills before crossing into Powys. The route selected

With a stop for lunch at Penybont your Welsh triangle tour continues as you drive south passing through the likes of Llandridnod Wells Builth Wells & Brecon the gateway to the Brecon Beacons National Park. The stunning scenery continues on your classic car road trip as you cross over to Abergavenny & the Black Mountains. Then it's the homeward bound leg which passes through the Wye Valley at Ross-on-Wye & the Malvern Hills at Ledbury.
