Not only do you go on a classic car road trip on this experience you get a guided tour of the Morgan factory too! This is motoring in the Malverns at its very best. Combining a fleet of gorgeous classic motors with a fascinating visit to a now rare 100% British-owned car manufacturer this is a day out motoring fans will adore. The experience starts in Redditch where there will be a very inviting line-up of classic cars for you to embark on your road trip in. Various stopping points are incorporated into the 100mile round trip so you swap cars regularly driving a total of five by the end of the expedition. & of course this is driving on the public roads not just whizzing around a track. As you'd imagine the roadbook for this road trip in stunning classic cars has been carefully constructed (and rigorously tested by the operator!) to use the best country roads. You won't be buffeting along the motorway this tour is more about getting a real feel for the cars & just actually enjoying the sensation of driving
- something that is invariably lost in our dull daily commute to the office in stop-start traffic. Your route in the morning takes you to Malvern home to the Morgan car factory. On your tour you'll witness the full manufacturing process from start to finish watching the highly skilled workforce hand build these fabulous Morgan cars just like they always have. The brand was founded in 1910 by Mr Morgan & the company is still 100% privately owned by the Morgan family. A short film at the start of your factory tour tells you all about the history of Morgan up to the present day before you head off to the factory floor. Watch in awe as the ash wood & metal is formed & bonded see the trim shop at work & look on as the final assembly takes place right down to that final polish. We think the factory tour is the perfect icing on the cake for this classic car road trip. You will be shown around by a highly knowledgeable guide & there's even time to stop for lunch in the delightful on-site Morgan cafe before you continue your road trip across the Malvern Hills then back up to base.

Drive a Mini Cooper! & no we're not talking about one of those new-fangled BMW-built Minis we're talking an iconic original Mini Cooper S. This is the miniature driving experience that is sure to put a big smile on your face. The Mini revolutionised modern car design when it was unleashed into the world in 1959. Designed by an inspired Alec Issigonis his remit was to come up with a small town roundabout that was economical on fuel & space efficient too. Initially produced as the Morris Mini Minor & the Austin Seven the car was soon known as the Austin Mini & then simply the Mini. But how did the classic sporty Cooper version that you'll be driving come about? Well Issigonis wasn't convinced about a sports version of the Mini at first. His good friend & motorsport company owner John Cooper eventually managed to persuade him & they worked together to create the Mini Cooper & subsequently the even more powerful 'S' variants. The Mk 1 Cooper first screeched onto the scen... ...

Twice the power & style with the double Aston drive! This Aston Martin head-to-head experience puts the modern DB9 up against a classic Vantage. Both are head-turning cars so which one will you prefer after driving the two on the track? This modern & classic Aston Martin combination is inspired. You've got the stunning DB9 alongside the old school charm of the 1970s Vantage. The DB9 was the first Aston model to be built at the marque's Gaydon facility & it was a star from the moment it rolled off the production line. It's done racing it's done Fast & Furious films it's taken the top off with convertible Volante version & it's featured on Top Gear's Cool Wall. Car accolades don't get much better than that! The Vantage is the older brother on this head to head experience. Aston Martin was going gung-ho for the American car market so the style of this fastback is much more transatlantic. It oozes retro cool & whilst it might not have the performance stats of the DB9 with its... ...

Set against the stunning backdrop of lowland Scotland this is a real trigger-happy treat for anyone who enjoys some exhilarating outdoor sport. Choose from a 50 75 or 100 clay one to one lesson or a 25 clay small group session (max eight participants) & the expert rifle instructors at this family-run school show you how much fun firing a gun at clay targets can be! Popular with pro shooters & those new to the clay pigeon sport the Edinburgh-based shooting school is staffed by a range of experienced coaches all of whom are qualified through the Clay Pigeon Shooting Association the Scottish Clay Target Association the British Association for Shooting & Conservation or the Institute of Clay Shooting Instructors. With such a high standard of tuition on offer you can guarantee this will be a learning curve you won't forget in a hurry! After an initial safety briefing you'll be given protective equipment & then sized up for a suitable gun for your clay pigeon session. The firearm you'll be given all depends on your age height strength & experience at shooting clays
- some of those rifles are a lot heavier & trickier to use than they look! But you'll also be given a thorough explanation of how to load aim & fire your gun as well as tips on how to avoid straining your shoulder muscles with the inevitable recoil. When you're confident wielding your weapon it's time to start hunting down some real targets. Well all of the pigeons & game at this rifle range just outside Edinburgh are actually made from clay but it gets thrown at you for shooting in different shapes & sizes to simulate the trajectories of real live animals. You could say it's a more environmentally-friendly introduction to an age-old pastime. In recognition of its traditional roots though hitting a clay is still referred to as a 'kill' & missing is classed as 'bird away'. There are a number of firing traps across the site all automated meaning you can try a range of clay shooting styles including Down The Line (DTL) Sporting & Skeet. With a typical 50-clay session lasting between one & two hours there's plenty of time to add some variety into the mix. If you opt for 75 or 100 clays then you can expect to see a real measure of shooting success before your time at this Scottish hunting ground is through whilst the 25 clay class gives you a great little taster of what the sport is all about. Why not give someone you love the confidence to aim for the stars & let them try clay pigeon shooting near Edinburgh: an enjoyable education in the fine art of firing a gun accepting some failure & above all celebrating success as a proper clay pigeon shooter.
