Luckily this experience is a Police getaway drive role play & it takes place away from the public roads. So this is your chance to drive it like you stole it & see if you can hold off the coppers on your tail. You will be driving the Volvo C30 2.0l bandit getaway car. You'll be given a head start to get away from the Police so make sure you're ready to launch as soon as you get the go. You'll need to eat up some tarmac to get ahead so try & avoid wheel-spinning away from the pits it'll lose you time & grip. No doubt your heart will be pumping as you hoon it around the first corner. Even if you think you're getting away don't get complacent. Within seconds you'll hear the wail of the Police siren & those blue flashing lights will appear in your rear view mirror. The chase is on. The pressure mounts. You've got to nail that racing line to not lose a second of time. The cops are in an Audi Quattro A6. This is a beast of an interceptor used for chasing down suspects who try & evade the Police. It's at home pelting it along the motorway. It's also at home handling the hairpins on the track. You're going to have your work cut for you trying to stave off the cops. Indeed you'll be up against highly skilled Police response divers who have been involved in many a tactical pursuit in their time in the Forces. You've got four laps to try & hold them off but if the Audi pulls up alongside you in the Volvo you've been nicked & you'll be tracked & guided off the track at the end of your four lap pursuit. Engage in a high-speed Police pursuit passenger thrill! Whether you're in the car chasing or the one being chased this is a pursuit challenge like no other & you will witness it all from the passenger seat. Hold on tight it's going to be quite ride. This experience is all about TPAC. That's to say a Tactical Pursuit & Containment. Which means a fleet of cop cars boxing in the bandits to get them to stop. Often occurring at high speeds on busy main roads & motorways it's the sort of thing you see on those Police interceptor programmes on the telly. You won't just be watching this showdown going down though you'll be part of it! We are offering passenger rides on a TPAC mission which could see you sitting in the Police pursuit vehicle or the car trying to get away. In both cases the vehicles will be driven by a professional driver. They could be ex or current serving members of the Police racing drivers or advanced driving instructors. One thing's for sure they all certainly know how to push the high-performance cars to the max with you inside. If you're the ones trying to make your escape you'll be in a Volvo C30. If you're the cops chasing your TPAC weapon of choice is the Audi A6 Quattro. Although it can't be guaranteed you can request which role you'd like to play but you know that in both cases you'll be going very very fast around the track. They say it's all about the thrill of the chase & it's certainly true in this Police pursuit. As the Volvo flies around the track the cop cars cluster around the Volvo driving in impressive close formation to box the baddies in & force the car to slow down & pull over. And all the time you'll be hearing the Police commentary as the drivers work together to bring perpetrator to a halt. There might be talk of the Volvo being a TWOC (Taken Without Consent) or LOS (Lost or Stolen) or if your Police pursuit passenger thrill gets a little hairy there may be talk of a Code Brown

Having said that seeing as these trips are operated by a powerboat it means that you can choose the pace so your trip can be tailored be it for families with young children or groups of more adventurous adults. You can go for a leisurely cruise checking out the stunning coast & marine wildlife. Or you can ramp up the thrill factor by getting your skipper to head out of Poole harbour into open waters to then open up the RIB’s throttle & go for a blast on these incredibly manoeuvrable boats.

As we mentioned these one-hour cruises out of Poole harbour are private charters. The RIB comfortably seats up to six passengers in total. You & your crew will be kitted out with the necessary safety gear namely a buoyancy aid & you’ll have a safety briefing with the boat’s skipper on the pontoon before you set sail.

Once you’ve established what sort of boat trip you’re after (thrilling chilling or a combination) it’s time to head off. The marina is superbly placed overlooking Brownsea Island with the Purbeck Hills as your backdrop. It’s also a pretty smart place with lots of expensive yachts & cruisers to gawp at as you head out of the harbour area.

Just opposite the Poole harbour area is Studl&. This is the eastern extremity of the famous Jurassic Coastline which stretches all the way to Exmouth in East Devon covering some 96miles. Seeing even just a small part of the Jurassic Coast on these boat trips is an awe-inspiring sight.
