Pack a bag you're going to lovely Leadenham on an overnight polo break for two! Your destination for this midweek short break is the Polo Club at Leadenham a sleepy little village in the heart of Lincolnshire. Over the two days you'll be learning & having lots of fun playing polo. James Reeve who grew up in the area created this charming polo club. A lot was invested to ensure the polo field is of the highest possible quality (and when you see the perfectly manicured turf you'll see what we mean) making it a great club. Along with colleagues Rob & Lydia this venue is run as a polo club polo school & events venue. You'll be a guest in the Manor House the Grade II listed stone-built traditional farmhouse in the heart of the estate which offers homely & comfortable accommodation to pupils enrolled on the two day polo course. Breakfast is included as is a BBQ on your full day of polo training. There are also several country pubs in the vicinity for evening meals. But back to the polo. These courses are designed for those who have no polo experience as well as appealing to those who are already confident on a horse. You'll be taught all the skills you need to strike the polo ball the necessary horse riding techniques & how to play. We have to say the Argentinian ponies are all super responsive & totally unflappable & before long you'll be cantering with complete confidence. Having enjoyed a full day of training you'll be able to make the most of the tennis court the croquet lawn & (best of all!) the outdoor hot tub at the Manor House. All a great way to relax after a day in the saddle. After your breakfast the next day there's one more session out on the polo field where you'll get to grips with playing a mini polo match. It's exciting energetic & superb fun all with a friendly atmosphere. An overnight polo break at this wonderful equestrian centre in picturesque Lincolnshire village is a great break away with a difference

Exclusive 4x 4 at Eastwell for two! Forget that old saying 'horses for courses' this is all about horsepower for off road courses when the two of you get to tackle the bumps & lumps together! This 4x 4 session for friends is all about sharing
- & it's up to you how you split the driving time. It will just be the two of you in the 4x 4 for the duration of the session. Your personal instructor & host will be sitting up front in the passenger seat acting as font of all off-roading knowledge tour guide & source of many an anecdote & amusing tale. As for who's driving & who is playing back seat 4x 4 driver? Well that's for you two to decide but most pairs choose to mix & match swapping over drivers fairly regularly. To tackle the technical stuff you'll need the right machine for the job. Lucky then that this LANTRA-approved off road centre has a rafter nifty duo of vehicles ready & waiting. There's the big shiny Land Rover Discovery & the beefy Toyota Hilux. Both are proper 4x 4s that do serious all-terrain work Of course after a few rounds of mud dust & water with the two of you at the helm we can safely say the 4x 4s will be absolutely covered in grime. Interestingly the instructors have a tendency to drive with the windows rolled down…surely won't the water come in when you hit those troughs sloshing muddy water up to the door handles?A highlight of this session of 4x 4ing for friends has to be when you egg each other on over the steep side slope. Instinct tells you to grab hold of the interior roof when you feel yourselves & the vehicle leaning dramatically to one side but your instructor will be reminding you it's both hands on the wheel! These off roading for two vouchers are offered as a two or three hour experience. If you plump for the longer sessions you will both tackle the obstacle course before having time to whizz off to try a nice bit of green laneing too (that's where you head off on rough tracks & trails across the countryside).
