Lessons are with a freindly flight training school on the airfield here at Shoreham & flights are offered all year round using Piper aircraft. A lesson in either a two or four seater light aircraft offers the best way to savour the experience of flying yourself & if you opt for the four seater experience a family member or friend can take up the back seat to enjoy your aerial fun with you & watch your lesson progress. Unique to our Shoreham Airport flying school we are offering Isle of Wight Adventure flights where you'll take off from Shoreham fly over the Sussex border & into Hampshire before heading over the Solent to the Isle of Wight to l&. You'll then have a break with time to park up in the plane & head for a detailed ground briefing. Once back in the aeroplane you'll take off from the island & navigate your way back to the airport at Shoreham giving you two flying lessons in one. Of course we also offer the more standard 30 40 & 60 minute flights that also give you stunning shoreline views. Whilst aspiring pilots are enjoying being airborne over West Sussex during their Shoreham Airport flying lessons spectators left on the ground can also make the most of the excellent facilities around the school including a visitor centre & the ' Fly In' & ' Airside 2' restaurant & cafe bars from where there are excellent views of the main tarmac & two grass runways at the airport.
