It's been built to handle like a rally car & accelerate like a race car. There are no bells & whistles on this car it's all kept to the absolute bare minimum because it's all about speed not comfort! The Rages love extreme conditions having participated in the gruelling 8000km Dakar race. No desert driving here but a challenging loose gravel & grass stage has been set up just for these rage buggy rides. This is totally their natural habitat. Put your oversteer & understeer skills to the limit on an extreme rally challenge! This full day of rallying will see you getting to grips with the power & torque of one or two of the world's finest Group N rally cars
- the Subaru Impreza & the Mitsubishi Lancer. Having a driving licence to be able drive on the public roads is a very different set of skills to being able to rally. The challenges are much more extreme as the pace is just so fast & you'll find you have to have reaction skills that function within a split second to be a world class rallyer. And of course you're not out there on your own. The other essential human part of the set up is the co-driver the one who has the pace notes for the stage. As you're motoring along rattling the dampers & sending plumes of dust flying the co-driver is the one who has to keep calm keep looking down at their notes & communicate the route ahead for the driver. Not an easy job. As you can see rallying is definitely a double act & on these extreme rallying days out you & your instructor will form a potentially WRC stage winning pair as you set about learning the craft of this most thrilling of motorsports at your choice of circuit including airfield circuits & full-on tree-lined stages. When it comes to the cars you can't much better than these babies. The category group N might have been replaced by NR4 in 2015 but the essence is still the same in that the cars are pretty much identical to mainstream production versions save few a few specific & limited mods that teams are allowed to carry out. So if you buy a Subaru WRX STi or an Evo at a dealers it won't be that much different to the Group N ones you see on the circuits. One thing is certain to win an extreme rally challenge you need to be consistent out there. As each rally is made up of several stages drivers need to be pretty nifty on a variety of surfaces as well as adaptable to quickly challenging conditions due to the weather (who hasn't loved a Finnish rally stage in the snow or a wet Welsh forest leg on the telly?). This full day of driving & teaching will give you the chance to give it a go for yourself!

Go river bugging in Llangollen! This picturesque part of North Wales is famed for its rapids & this thrilling experience gives you the chance to ride those swirling Welsh waters in a river bug! If you don't know already river bugs are rigid inflatables for one person. They kind of look like the shape of a jetski (making them ideal for cutting through the water) they've got handle grips on the side & you use your hands to paddle & steer. You can lie down on your tummy on them sit up in them or even try kneeling if you dare. Whichever way you ride it's going to be pretty fun out there. You'll be in your bug on the waters of the River Dee near Llangollen & you will need to know how to swim be confident in the water & be fairly fit as (depending on water levels) you could be tackling grade 4 rapids. You might think the words 'electric' & 'go karts' could never successfully go together but when you see just how nifty these Eco Karts are you'll soon be converted. The world of West London karting is totally electric! We have to admit we had our doubts too when we heard this karting track near Acton runs an entire fleet of electric vehicles. They are slightly heavier than your standard petrol versions but technology has come on in leaps & bounds & during testing at the track before going into service it turned out these Lithium battery powered models actually out accelerated their gas-guzzling cousins. So hop on & see just how thrilling electric karting actually is. Capable of speeds of up to 40mph & having the very distinct advantage of zero emissions (keeping the London powers that be & the neighbours happy) this is responsible karting at its fastest & most fun. The circuit in West London is superb. A good 500m long it's multi-level with some impressive banked corners (amongst the seven bends in total) interspersed with some nice high-speed straights. To give you an idea of what you should be aiming for the average lap time here is 28 seconds so let's see how you compare when you get out there. The format in Acton gives you two 15-minute driving sessions.
