This is not an ordinary Chevrolet Camaro drive. This is a high-end high-performance version of the Fifth Generation Chevrolet Camaro & you are going to be taking it for a spin around the track! You don't see many of them in the UK perhaps because these cars are big & have a very thirsty 6.2l V8 engine but you don't need to worry about fuel economy on these experiences as it's not you who'll be filling up! It might be a bit of a gas-guzzler but just look at it. Chevrolet certainly made sure this version of the Camaro would turn heads. & behind all that big & bold styling you've got a carbon fibre bonnet upgraded shocks & springs big brakes & 20" wheels. Busting out 580bhp & doing the old 0-60mph in just under four seconds it's little wonder this beast won World Car Design of the Year in 2010. Gearing up to drive this Camaro you'll be given a driver's briefing & then it's time to meet your pro instructor who'll be sitting beside you in the front passenger seat. & they have quite a team onboard including ex Police instructors karting champs Formula Ford winners & even ex F1 drivers. Despite the size of this motor (far bulkier & heavier than UK-designed super & sports cars) & the fairly poor driver's view (that bonnet is long & the rear window slopes down & it's tiny) it is actually pretty easy to drive. In fact if you want to drive a Camaro like this all you have to do is buy your voucher choose which of the circuits you'd like to go to book in with the supplier & then turn up to the track on the right day. Simple. All the servicing polishing & fine tuning has been done in the workshop so by the time you get there the Camaro will be ready waiting & more than just a little bit willing to go for an adrenaline pumping spin around the track. Our Chevrolet Camaro drives are available at three different circuits around the UK & you can choose from a weekday or anytime voucher for three or six miles. Isn't it about time you took on the Chevvy to see what the impressive Camaro can do when you're behind that (flat bottomed) racing steering wheel? ...

This brilliant Can Am ATV driving experience gives you a new way to go off road! When we tell you that ATV stands for All Terrain Vehicle you might think of farmers whizzing around their estate seeing to their cattle & shifting stuff no matter how muddy it gets. But as well as being an agricultural workhorse these agile little machines love to have fun on obstacle tracks too! And that is exactly what you'll be doing during these Can Am adventures near Corby. The terrain you'll be tackling is on the Rockingham Castle estate & covers a whopping 250 acres. Part of this vast area has been converted to a specially built course to push all manner of off road vehicles to the limit. Just you wait & see what the Can Am can do. Indeed these small sleek & powerful machines are seriously impressive. Way more powerful than your average quad bike & a lot more manoeuvrable that even the best-loved of 4x 4 cars the Can Am is the dream machine for the countryside. It can literally tackle anything. It has what the Canadian manufacturers call 'go anywhere capabilities' & we couldn't agree more. Go head-on for the steepest climbs. Wince as you slide sideways at impossible angles. Hold your breath as you round the top of the hill to then nose dive down the other side. Fear the big splash when driving through water. This is one seriously tough mudder of a machine & it's great to drive. Whilst most of the driving will be at 10mph as you put those exposed rear shock absorbers to the test if you can find at straight albeit bumpy trail at the Rockingham Castle estate these ATVs can reach a ridiculous 70mph. & being just inches from the ground that's going to be feel stupendously fast. Narrow slick & quick the Can Ams are superb & they're only available at this centre at Rockingham Castle. They're pretty gnarly so it's over 18s only with a licence & you'll be kitted out with a full face helmet for this ATV driving experience. ...

Can Anyone Fly The Plane?

The cabin purser comes on the PA and asks: 'Can anyone fly a plane?'. It seems the Captain has been taken ill and the First Officer too. As they say in 'Airplane!': 'The life of everyone onboard depends upon just one thing - finding someone back there who can not only fly this plane but who didn't have fish for dinner'. There are no off-duty pilots onboard so they're asking for civilian volunteers. You have no idea how to land a plane but you're the only one who comes forward. This is your moment to see if you can land this commercial plane in an emergency. In aviation-speak this is what's called a 'talk down landing'. A non pilot-trained passenger takes control of the aircraft and with a headset on listens to instructions from the ground or a nearby aircraft to be able to start the
descent make the final approach and land safely on the runway. When you get led into the cockpit to take the Captain's seat you're cruising at 500mph 38 000ft in the air. As the only passenger onboard to respond to the call for anyone to fly (and land) the plane it's over to you now. You'll need nerves of steel and you'll need to keep calm. Get it right and you'll be hailed a national hero get it wrong and it could well be curtains for all of you. Of course this experience takes place on a simulator but it's pretty realistic in that flight deck which is an exact replica of a Boeing 737. At first glance it's a dazzling area of screens levers dials and buttons which will surely make you doubt your ability to just go in there and actually fly the thing. After all you thought you were going to
have a nice relaxing voyage reading the in-flight magazine as just another passenger but here you are landing the plane! Listen to the very clear and calm instructions in your headset and the theory is anyone can land a plane. Let's see if you can be the passenger hero of this flight. Oh and if you do mess up the joy of it being simulated is that the reset button can be pressed and you can start again. We wouldn't you coming in too fast and turning into a fireball on impact or stalling on your final approach now would we? If anyone can fly a plane it's you - and we promise no-one will call you Shirley!
