If you fancy making fires or navigating acres of dense forest with your mates these team building activities just outside Leeds are perfect! Testing both your mental & physical strength you'll definitely need plenty of get up & go for you & your group to succeed at these outdoor tasks.
It's all about making your way around the countryside & then learning to survive in it using only what Mother Nature provides with a Bushcraft & Orienteering group course. The starting point for this experience is the company's headquarters at Hazlewood House not far from Leeds.
Orienteering is excellent for team bonding as you'll have to work together using just a map a compass & a pencil to work out where you are & where you're going. What's more fastest team wins so you'll all pull together for this one!
If you fancy trying something where you learn a few new skills the bushcraft session is brilliant. We've all seen the reality TV shows with antics that make you feel just a little bit queasy (no-one needs to see Carl Fogerty eating certain bits of camel do they?) but this course is way more realistic than those sort of shows
- you get to make fire & build shelters.
In essence you will need to have an OK fitness level for these group & team building activities outside of Leeds. The whole gang will have to be ready to get muddy & wet for some of the tasks & be prepared to go the distance on others. But in the end it will all be so rewarding when you reach the summit cross the finish line or get that fire roaring.
