Harry Bertoia style Diamond Chair
High quality reproduction in the style of Bertoia's original design.
After teaching jewellery & metal work Bertoia joined forces with Charles & Ray Eames for the Evans Product Company & experimented with moulded plywood seating. In 1950 he established a studio in Pennsylvania & introduced his famous ' Wire Chair' made from welded steel lattice. The success was immediate & in the mid 50s the royalties he received for these chairs allowed him to devote himself exclusively to his sculpting career.
