For highly impactful specimen plantings in beds, borders & patio pots, the Golden Scented Cypress is a must! The soft, bright golden-yellow foliage will provide your garden with healthy colour all year round & (in keeping with its name) gives off a fresh, lemon scent when foliage is crushed or cut
- which is said to deter biting insects from that area of your garden. In fact it is such a great all round garden plant it has been awarded the coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit! Growing to 2-3m tall, it is naturally upright & slightly teardrop shaped, but can be trimmed to suit your required height. A little & often approach to trimming of the young, soft shoots will allow you to easily keep it to the shape & size that suits you. It is very easy to manage & can be kept in post on the patio for many years, where it will happily sit at centre stage of your displays. Once it has reached the desired height & width, prune the new growth in early summer & mid-autumn each year. A hedge trimmer will leave the perfect finish. Golden Scented Cypress will grow in virtually any soil & in any location from full sun to partial shade (although for the brightest of golden-yellow colour it is best in full sun). It is completely winter hardy throughout the entire UK & is virtually pest & disease resistant too. In the depths of winter the cooler temperatures give the trees an even deeper, richer colouration. Supplied as a pair of 3 year old trees in 3L pots 80cm tall, ready to plant out now. Contents: 2 x Trees

Pair Of Goose Feather & Down Pillows

About the Brand: Downland The Downland Bedding Company was established by Thomas Sidney Smith in 1946. Business thrived, soon outgrowing the original factory in Kirby which manufactured mattresses and pillows. Thomas decided to buy the Scott Feather Company where he had plied his trade all those years ago. During the early 1950s, Thomas and his sales team were receiving great demand to work with the high street department stores such as Selfridges, John Lewis, Debenhams and Littlewoods. Thomas realised that he needed to travel to America for inspiration in design, which led to the company becoming the main player in the market place. With great demands from their London clients, Downland opened an additional office on Park Lane in 1960. This success has continued under the leadership
of son Graham Smith and grandson Fraser Smith. Staying true to values and heritage instilled by Thomas the foundations are set for another 70 years successful trading by the Downland Bedding Company.
