One of the biggest problems with TV's is creating " White" light, this is commonly created with a filter over a Blue LED, whilst this is accurate, it isn't perfect, Quantum Dot is actually a very thin sheet that covers the Blue LED's with nanocrystals which help deliver a much whiter white colours meaning colours are much more accurate than traditional filters.
