The UE65KS9500 TV from Samsung will deliver the very best viewing experience possible due to it being an Ultra HD Premium set. Ultra HD Premium is a certification that is awarded by meeting a strict set of standards & performance levels for Content, Televisions & AV products. These standards have been set by a governing body called the Ultra HD Alliance, this represents the major manufacturers & film studios. The Samsung S-UHD range of televisions are all UHD Premium & will deliver an image exactly as the director & film studios intended.

For the first time you will be able to see stunning true to life images thanks to HDR1000. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, which increases the range of luminance levels so you get the whitest whites & the blackest blacks. Although this is the basic definition of HDR, there is a lot more to it than this. HDR1000 means that the TV is capable of delivering a peak brightness level of up to 1000nits which is the ultimate level of brightness, it is incredibly bright, letting you see every tiny detail in the image. Helping you gain an incredible image, Samsung use a technology called Ultra Black, which reduces glare on the display, meaning you won't be distracted by your surrounding reflections.

Up until now TV's were not able to display all colours of the world that we see around us. Quantum Dot is a way of creating much more accurate colours on the screen. One of the biggest problems with TV's is creating " White" light, this is commonly created with a filter over a Blue LED, whilst this is accurate, it isn't perfect, Quantum Dot is actually a very thin sheet that covers the Blue LED's with nanocrystals which help deliver a much whiter white colours meaning colours are much more accurate than traditional filters.

No matter the content the Samsung S-UHD Remastering Engine will analyse the picture & remaster it so that it looks as good as it possibly can do & as close as possible to how the original creator intended it to look.
