Ultra HD Premium is a certification that is awarded by meeting a strict set of standards & performance levels for Content, Televisions & AV products. These standards have been set by a governing body called the Ultra HD Alliance, this represents the major manufacturers & film studios. HDR stands for High Dynamic Range, which increases the range of luminance levels so you get the whitest whites & the blackest blacks.
