Use the Play:1 the way you want to, plug in & connect to Wi-Fi to enjoy music streaming within minutes. Play different songs in different rooms with your Sonos Multiroom system, allowing you to connect up your Play 1 to your Play:3 or Play:5, or all together if you want! They can also work in unison to play the same song.

Free Sonos App
Control all of your Sonos devices from a single app, allowing you to group your speakers & manage them individually. Choose your favourite tracks from across all of your music services, from Netflix & Apple Music to Soundcloud & Amazon Music, there are over 30 streaming services available for use, explore them here.

Set alarms for each individual speaker, allowing you to set any song you would like to go off at your specific requested time, you can even set them to start a radio station at a specific time. Use the Sleep Timer to set a song to calmly lull you to sleep each night.

True Play Tuning
True Play is the quick & easy way to ensure your Sonos devices make precise acoustic adjustments to the speakers sound, whether it's a large or small adjustment. True Play will figure out the perfect settings, all you need is an i OS device, such as an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch to start the True Play process.

The process gives you instructions on what to do & uses the microphone in your phone to scan & analyse your room, taking into account where the speaker is placed, where your furniture is & where your walls are, including any decor that you have.


Team the PLAY:1 up with a second PLAY:1 for ultimate Stereo sound, allowing you to dedicate one to right & the other to left speakers. Also goes well with PLAY:3 or PLAY:5.

True Play
If you own an i OS device then you can set-up True Play, this will analyse your room & factor in the size, layout, dcor & where the speaker is located, all of these will affect how you hear your music. Holding your device up whilst the True Play & walking around with it as instructed by the app's process will scan your room in order to adjust the woofer & tweeters the perfect amount to give the best sound for your room.

If you move your Sonos speaker, it is recommended to retune the True Play, as the acoustics can become ruined & the speaker would need to readjust the angles of the sound output, True Play only takes a couple minutes to tune, so it is worth the enhanced sound!

Sonos App
With the free Sonos App you can access all of your favourite music from all of your services at one, from Apple Music, Spotify & Deezer to Amazon Music, Soundcloud & Google Play, everything is at your fingertips.

Use the single search bar to search through all of your libraries across all your music services, for an easier way to find your music, the app will also let you search for various radio stations if you can't think of a specific song or just want to find something new to listen to.

Sonos App will also let you group up other Sonos speakers you may have, including the Play:1 & the Play:5 or choose to play them individually, each speaker can be playing a completely different song to another, or they can all work in unison to bring your house together.

Bring stereo sound power to your home with a single speaker, even if you're not a big audiophile, you still deserve great sound. Play 3 offers three Class-D Amplifiers built-in along with three custom-built drivers for a wider sound stage, making vocals really shine.

Orientation
The choice is yours on how you want your new Play 3 to look in your room, if you want it in Horizontal or Vertical, vertical mode switches the output into Mono rather than Stereo, so you can choose which you prefer for what content you're viewing.

Play:3 automatically adjusts to the orientation & optimises the sound, True Play will also buffer this to create the best possible sound. Rubber feet on two sides of the Play:3 will keep the surface safe on any surface, so the choice is ultimately up to your preference. You can also mount it to a genuine speaker stand for an off-surface experience.

Add a second Play:3 speaker to dedicate one to Left & the other to Right speakers, for a bigger & deeper stereo sound.

App Control
Download the ' Sonos Controller' app, this will control all of your favourite music, allowing you to access your personal music library across all of your music streaming services, such as Spotify, Deezer & Apple Music. All without having to switch apps, you can even use the search bar to search for a single song across all of your musical services.

You can also use the app to group multiple speakers together. Therefore, if you have any of the Sonos speakers in your Bedroom & your Kitchen you can make those 2 play a certain song, whilst your speakers in your Living Room & Bathroom play a completely different track, or make the whole house blast out the same song.

True Play
True Play may only be performed using an i OS device, such as an iPad, iPhone or iPod. Select True Play to analyse your room size, layout & even decor, along with where the speaker is located, all of these things can affect sound quality. True Play avoids this by asking you to walk around your room with your device held up; this will scan the surroundings & adjust how each woofer & tweeter will produce sound.

If you tend to move your speaker around a lot then it is recommended to retune your True Play each time, as the position of your speaker can greatly change the sound that is given.

Dialogue Enhancing If a certain film or TV show you're watching has some particularly loud sound effects blocking out some of the Dialogue & you require a dialogue boost then the Speech Enhancement is perfect, at the touch of an option you can keep dialogue at a consistent level & reduce the volume on loud sound effects.
