Award-winning documentary about the children's choir of South Africa's Agape Child Care Centre. Told largely from the perspective of 12-year-old Slindile Moya, one of nine siblings who lost their parents to AIDS, the film focuses on Slindile's family, including an older brother who lives at home & has the HIV virus, as well as other residents of the orphanage who are members of the choir. The Agape Child Care Centre was founded by Zodwa Mqadi ten years ago, to provide a home & education for orphaned children. To try & raise much-needed funds for the orphanage & expand its capacity, Zodwa, known as ' Grandma' to the children, decides to take the music of the Agape's extraordinary a capella choir to the wider world.
