The roving ex-python takes two train journeys covering the length & breadth of Britain & Irel&. TV traveller Michael Palin's first outing was in 1980 as part of the BBC series ' Great Railway Journeys'. Leaving London, he travels to Edinburgh, rides on the Flying Scotsman, before ending his journey at the Kyle of Lochalsh. Palin's second journey takes in the whole of Irel&, including visits to Londonderry & Belfast in the north, & Dublin, Wexford & Waterford in the south, before finishing in Dingle Bay, the most westerly point in Irel&.
