Six weeks before he was due to be released from Feltham Young Offenders Institute, Zahid Mubarek (Aymen Hamdouchi), who was of Asian descent, was allocated a new cellmate - Robert Stewart (Leeshon Alexander), a vicious racist. Stewart's strange and aggressive behaviour unsettled Mubarek, but his request to be moved to a different cell was denied. Only a few hours before he would have been released, Mubarek was violently attacked by Stewart and later died of his injuries.
