9000m Ah Lithium Polymer Battery: The powermonkey extreme houses a massive 9000m Ah lithium polymer battery & is capable of recharging an iPhone/smartphone up to 6 times, an iPad/ Tablet up to 2 times or charging most SLR camera batteries twice. It will work with virtually any 5V or 12V devices including head lamps, handheld action cameras & more. Solar panel: The included solar panel will charge the powermonkey extreme battery unit in 18-22 hours in optimum light conditions & is also capable of charging 5V devices directly. The solar panel’s folding, clam-shell design takes up little space & it can be attached to backpacks, tents, etc via the included Velcro strap. 5V USB (Universal Serial Bus) & 12V DC output sockets: The powermonkey extreme has two output ports – a 5V USB (Universal Serial Bus) socket & a 12V DC socket. From the 5V USB (Universal Serial Bus) socket you can charge your smaller devices such as smartphones, iPods, GPS, head lamps, etc., whilst the 12V DC socket can be used to charge SLR camera batteries (when used in conjunction with the included female in-car socket), portable DVD players & much more. You can even charge 5V & 12V devices simultaneously thus saving time. To Work Out The Voltage Of Your Device: If your device is charged via a USB (Universal Serial Bus) socket, the maximum voltage of your device will be 5 Volts. For other products, the voltage your device requires can be found either in the user manual supplied with the device or on the AC mains charger. Perfect for Outdoor use: The powermonkey extreme has an IP67 rating meaning it is waterproof for 30 minutes up to 1 metre & its shock-resistant design can take the knocks & spills of any expedition.
