Jennifer Behr Voilette
Headband Cobalt

Jennifer Behr introduced
her namesake collection
of luxury hair
accessories in 2005.
After majoring in
sculpture and art history
at Washington University,
Jennifer honed her
skills by creating custom
headpieces at a small
millinery shop, which
was to be the start of a
very exciting career for
the designer. She soon
went on to create a hair
accessories collection
for celebrity hair
stylist Frederic Fekkai,
under contract with
Chanel. When Fekkai
discontinued the hair
accessory line, Behr was
encouraged by a buyer at
Bergdorf Goodman to start
her own collection. The
success of this ready to
wear accessories line
resulted in the launch of
her bridal collection two
years later. Since 2005
Behrs collections have
grown to include
seductive headpieces and
belts all with their own
unique appeal. Her
designs manage to be
strong and on trend
whilst remaining utterly
sophisticated and
completely functional.
Materiality has always
been the main focus for
Behr, setting her apart
from others in her field.
Swarovski crystals set in
dark metal and
hand-stitched to ethereal
silk chiffons,
hand-braided nautical
rope patterns, thick
satin turbans, supple
French leathers and, at
times, super tough studs
and chains combined with
traditional handiwork
details and construction
techniques brings a truly
modern sense of
femininity and glamour to
her work. With Jennifer
Behr creations gracing
the pages of fashion
bibles including Vogue,
