The Hauck Varioguard Group 0+1 Car Seat is two car seats in one. The Varioguard is an amazingly flexible car seat with Isofix base which can be used for many years. It provides you & your child with the latest technology & the highest level of safety. This car seat is ECE 44/04 approved & meets all the requirements to transport your baby safely & securely. The memory foam, used in the head protection, is impact- & shock- absorbing & provides excellent test results in frontal & side crashes. High-quality & breathable materials are used around the head & the sitting area & therefore ensure the highest level of comfort. A smaller sitting unit provides the perfect support for your newborn. The Varioguard car seat offers
- unlike other Group 0+ carseats
- a 5-point harness & energy-absorbing strap pads which guarantee the highest level of security. The Isofixbase of the Varioguard can be locked in the car via the Isofix connections & the front pedestal. If there is no Isofix connection, you can fasten the base securely with a 3 point seatbelt. If you use the Isofix connection of your car, you can use the Varioguard for up to & including group I in the rearward facing position, which means from birth onwards to 18kg of weight. Providing better security for your child right through to approx 4 years old. Alternatively, if you are using with the 3-point seatbelt of your vehicle, you can use the seat rearward facing as a car seat of the group 0 + (from birth to 13kg) & afterwards in the direction of travel (9-18 kg). In this position, the angle of the seat can be adjusted into 5 positions. The height-adjustable head protection offers the highest level of safety & optimum side impact protection in all positions.
