Famous gardener Margery Fish was once asked for the secret of gardening. She answered " The secret is, when in doubt plant a geranium!" & we agree. Hardy Geraniums are one of the easiest plants to grow & give so much back. Amazingly floriferous, great groundcover, slug & rabbit resistant, attractive to bees & not fussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Geraniums were brought to Britain in the 16th century & quickly became the mainstay of the English garden. There is at least one for every garden, tall or short. Not to confused with pelargoniums, which don't survive outdoors in winter. Hardy perennial. oxonianum Katherine Adele, Heavily marked burgundy foliage. Height 40cm (16"), spread 45-60cm (18-24"), flowering May to June.
