The name Wind Flower is accounted for in several ways, one of which is William Turners statement " The flower never openth it selfe, but when the wynde bloweth". Large pink showy open double saucer shaped flowers with yellow centres & sometimes pink reverse, wave proudly & reliably above the maple like foliage from July through to November. Very easy going nature & great ability to thrive where others may struggle in sun or partial shade. Slug resistant. An amazing trouble free plant that gives great colour throught the autumn. Fully hardy.
