The name Wind Flower is accounted for in several ways, one of which is William Turners statement " The flower never openth it selfe, but when the wynde bloweth". Large white showy open saucer shaped flowers with yellow centres & sometimes pink reverse, wave proudly & reliably above the maple like foliage from July through to November. Very easy going nature & great ability to thrive where others may struggle in sun or partial shade. Slug resistant. An amazing trouble free plant that gives great colour throught the autumn. Fully hardy. hybrida Honorine Jobert, height 1.5m (60"), spread 1m (40") Prince Henry, height 60-90cm (24-36"), spread 45-60cm (18-24") hybrida Queen Charlotte, height 1.5m (60"), spread 60cm (24") September Charm, height & spread 1m (40") Whirlwind, height 1.5m (60"), spread 1m (40").
