The doe is the female of the deer, her real name is red deer, the best known representative of the deer family. This magnificent mammal, with twilight & nocturnal habits, lives mainly in the temperate forests of Europe, North Africa, Asia & even North America. The doe, less impressive than the deer, can measure up to 1.30 m at the withers for a weight between 67 & 100 kg. The species lives only in groups within herds which consist of a male & sixty females
