Considered by many to be the most beautiful pre-war car, the Bugatti 57SC with its sweeping lines & pronounced dorsal fin was a triumph of engineered decorative art. Designed by Jean Bugatti at the age of 26, only 3 production cars were ever made & only 2 of those survive today. This is a replica of the last car made, delivered to English businessman R. B. Pope in 1938 who kept the car for 30 years. No expense has been spared to produce such an accurate replica. Made from over 1700 parts the detail is phenomenal
- from individually welded rivets to the engine beneath the double-winged bonnet. Just a few of the intricate details include:A finely recreated cockpit
- the dashboard is true to the original with all the instruments & controls. Perfectly shaped metal radiator grille with Chrome Bugatti emblem. Metal framed windows with staggered windscreen wipers. The rear wheel arches are equipped with a stone-chipping protection cover made from unpainted aluminium plate. Wheels comprise of aluminium rims & stainless steel spokes. Every single stainless steel spoke is individually crafted.
