There is nothing more satisfying than growing your own vegetables & enjoying the delicious rewards of the freshest produce you can possibly have.
When Foremost was first added to the national variety list in 1954 it was called Suttons Foremost. This variety was an instant hit with gardeners who liked its excellent flavour & resistance to disintegration when boiling. Foremost was awarded the RHS award of garden merit & joins an elite club of varieties.
With average sized yields & disease resistance this variety never took off commercially. It does have good common scab resistance.
Foremost seed potatoes are short to oval in shape with white skin & waxy white flesh.
