Trachelopsermum Jasminoides or Star Jasmine is a very elegant climber bearing thousands of pure white star-shaped flowers throughout summer on twining woody stems. The glossy evergreen foliage of star jasmine forms the perfect backdrop for its dramatic blooms which perfume the air with an irresistible sweet fragrance. It makes a stunning addition to a scented patio garden or grown against a sheltered wall for a truly glamorous display & is renowned for its beautiful heady perfume on those balmy summer evenings.

Grow star jasmine plants in frost-free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When they are well grown plant in fertile well drained soil in sun or semi-shade. Choose a sheltered position that is protected from cold winter winds. In particularly cold areas it is best grown in patio containers of loam based compost that can be moved to a protected position over winter. Provide the twining stems with an appropriate support such as trellis wires or a free standing climbing frame.

Feed & water regularly throughout the growing season. After flowering reduce the stems to restrict them to the available space.
