These seeds will grow into gorgeous sky blue flowers up to 6cm across that will appear throughout summer on this free-flowering elegant climber. Also suitable for greenhouse or conservatory growing this plant prefers a sunny sheltered & warm site ideal for warm site trellis fences & poles etc.

This is a half hardy annual which grows to a height of 2-2.5m (6-8ft). Sow the seeds March to April simply soak seeds overnight in cold water & file a tiny notch in the seed coat before sowing. These seeds will germinate at 20-30C individually in pots on the surface of a good free draining damp seed compost. Apply a layer of compost or vermiculite 6mm deep & place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination (usually 10-17 days).

Transplant seedlings into 13cm pots & grow on in cooler conditions for at least 14 days before planting out in late spring after all risk of frost. Plant out 30cm apart & remove spent flowers regularly to encourage further blooming.
