Cobra has introduced the highly anticipated Radspeed Iron range, their most technologically advanced irons to date. Earlier this year Cobra announced their partnership with HP & Parmatech & successfully became the first original equipment manufacturer to pioneer 3D printing in golf manufacturing with the launch of the stunning Cobra King Supersport-35 putter. Cobra selected HP as its partner to pioneer 3D printing in golf due to the major advantages their metal jet technology had over traditional methods & other 3D methods. The Radspeed graphite irons feature a unique carbon fibre topline that saves 2grams to lower the centre of gravity & further improve launch & spin characteristics. The all-new black carbon fibre aesthetic creates the appearance of a thinner topline for a more compact & sleeker look at address. Cobra's patented PWRSHELL technology continues to offer incredible speed & higher launch even on the stronger lofted irons. The forged PWRSHELL insert in the Radspeed iron is made from a very high strength 17.4 stainless steel, allowing for a thinner & more flexible face design that increases ball speed around the sweet spot. Graphite irons provide significant yardage gains over steel shafts due to the lighter weight & higher flexibility, ideal for senior golfers who have lost a few yards over the years. Graphite shafts also have very pleasing aesthetic looks that will appeal to a wide range of players.
