Nite Lite Extra Glow thread is a 40 wt. polyester thread that glows for up to six hours. Because the thread is made from polyester it is much stronger than some other threads & can be used at higher machine speeds. Polyester is heat resistant (iron & dryer safe), colourfast, resistant to chemicals & can be washed or dry cleaned with standard cleaning products. You can get really creative with glowing thread, bring quilting & embroidery, cross stitching & applique to a new level. Can also be used for making luminous fly fishing flies. The spool has 80 yards of thread. Available in white, or a mixed pack of 6 containing one each of green, blue, white, pink, lilac, & yellow. The 'glow' colour of all the threads are various shades of green. To get the full glow effect the manufacturer recommends filling in an area with embroidery, free motion quilting, or using a satin stitch.
