These beautiful little lanterns are made entirely by hand on a Fair Trade basis by skilled artisans in Moradabad in India. They're fashioned from recycled iron & colourful embossed glass & come in an array of beautiful colours, looking great grouped together or individually. There is a small hinged door to access the tealight holder, & a hanging loop, so the lantern can be placed on floors, table tops, or hung from trees & pergolas, & they make fantastic decorations for Indian themed weddings & bohemian decor schemes. Place these lanterns in your garden & they will look beautiful on sunny days when the sun catches the colourful glass, & they're truly stunning when lit with a tealight. This product has been made on a Fair Trade basis. Our supplier has a strong ethical policy & aims to buy from small scale producers who use mostly natural materials & traditional techniques to produce beautiful & unique pieces. Their belief is that the best way to help disadvantaged producers is to work in partnership with them through mutually beneficial long term trade. All producers are paid fairly for their skills to help them become financially independent & stronger.
