Features: Enjoy a selection of freshly made sandwiches, delicious scones and/or fine pastries or cakes A traditional & decadent treat for two Available in a wide selection of locations Relax in luxury country hotels & traditional tea rooms with our decadent Afternoon Tea treat for two! Choose from a variety of welcoming locations & be treated to a selection of freshly made sandwiches, delicious scones and/or either fine pastries or cakes of the day to accompany your tea. Afternoon tea has been a British institution since Anna Maria, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, asked her footman to bring her a pot of tea & light refreshment one afternoon in 1840. The ritual caught on & afternoon tea became the cornerstone of high-society dining. These days, taking tea as a light afternoon meal has become much more accessible, but has not lost a crumb of its charm!
