The Razor Pit was the bright idea of some scientist who instead of make silicone as smooth as feasibly possible (for baking trays etc) decided to make it as rough as possible. This roughness creates a friction, & when you slide your razor blade along it, it cleans & sharpens it. Using the Razor Pit is like shaving with a brand new razor every day, I use it religeously & can swear by it, its simply changed my shaving life. Im a bit lazy & often dont shave for several days, thanks to the Razor Pit it no longer feels like Im using an angle grinder to shave with. We cant vouch for this brilliant gizmo highly enough.
