Dryopteris erythrosora or Autumn Fern it's common name This is a striking semi-evergreen fern. Once Grown on during spring its triangular- shaped fronds take on a copper tint slowly maturing to dark green. Ideally grow in moist soil & plant with other ferns cut back in the winter to make way for new growth. They enjoy once a year a mulch of well rotted leaves & compost to mirror the woodland conditions they are normally found in.
