What is Memory Foam? Memory Foam was initially developed by Nasa who were looking to improve the safety of aircraft cushions. It was developed using a high density memory foam that reacted to body heat, allowing it to mould to a warm human body within only a few minutes. A lower density memory foam was also developed which reacted to pressure allowing it to more quickly mould to the shape of the body. Why Memory Foam? Memory Foam has numerous benefits, specifically targeted at those who have restless nights sleeping, or who have back pain or other body pains. By reducing movement when you sleep, by moulding to your body, Memory Foam can help relieve back, muscular & arthritic pain. It can also help to improve circulation & prevents bed sores. Allergies Memory Foam pillows & materesses are classed as "hypo-allergenic", making them suitable for the whole family.
