Ceramic Speed Shine is a super effective detail spray that can be used for light duty cleaning of dust, pollen, smudges & light road grime while leaving behind a super slick ceramic finish. The unique, lubricant based formula contains advanced silane polymer technology combined with Si O2 to create a fast flashing, easy to use protective detail spray. The formula is great for those quick touch ups between washes & also can be used as a lubricant with paint cleaning clay or one of Griot's Garage's synthetic clay options during paint decontamination. Also works great as a drying aid, simply mist Ceramic Speed Shine on your still wet vehicle as you dry for an intense visual pop & additional ceramic protection. Remember when you first fell in love with Speed Shine? Get ready to do it all over again with Ceramic Speed Shine! Q& As What is Si O2? Si O2 (Si O₂) is the chemical formula for silicon dioxide or silica. Is this safe to use on a car with full PPF followed by ceramic coating? Ceramic Speed Shine is safe for use on PPF as well as Ceramic Coatings. Currently I use Griot's Rinseless Wash & Wax as a drying aid after washes (with either a poly wax or 3 in 1 base). Should I consider replacing with this product as a drying aid & additional protection? Although the Ceramic Speed Shine would be a great drying aid for the high shine quality it will not add any kind of protection as it is just a quick detailer & does not contain wax. Can this product be used on black painted factory wheels with long lasting protection, or does it require frequent re-application? Our Ceramic Speed Shine is safe on your black painted factory wheels, but since it's a detailing spray, it will not last nearly as long as our Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax, which is also completely safe for your painted wheels. The Ceramic Speed Shine, on wheels, may last around a month or more, but the Ceramic 3 in 1 Wax is going to provide a solid 6 months or more of protection. Are there any special preparation steps if I use the Ceramic Speed Shine versus the original speed shine? Are there any other steps after application that I am not doing now? I am interested in switching but need this info prior to ordering The Ceramic Speed Shine can be used the same way you would use the traditional Speed Shine. The only difference is the Ceramic Speed Shine is most effective on to of a ceramic wax because it will be adding the Si O2 protection back into the base layer of ceramic. Can I use the ceramic speed shine on black plastic trim like bombers & fender well trim? The Ceramic Speed Shine can be used on the trim. What’s the difference between speed shine & ceramic speed shine? Both the speed shine & the Ceramic Speed shine are incredible detailers. Both can be used for the clay & synthetic clay, & also be used to clean dust, bird bombs, finger prints, & smudges. The main difference would be the Si 02 in the Ceramic speed shine. It provides a super slick, Ultra-hydrophobic finish that is safe for all exterior surfaces & paint protection film. You can also use the Ceramic speed shine as a drying aid. So if your using our Ceramic 3 in 1 & you just want to maintain the wax on there & keep your car clean the Ceramic speed shine is great! However if you know your going to Polish some imperfections out of your paint then I would use the regular speed shine to clean & clay the car.
