Product Description

The Pro Marker Fly-tying Set is ideal for creating a variety of natural imitations including hackled flies, streamers, two-tone nymphs & perch imitations. Use twin-tip Pro Markers in fly tying & in making fishing lures Making flies that match the natural insects profile & shade is not only very effective, but its also the most satisfying way of fooling the wily old trout thats refused every other fly youve ever offered him! Creating a fly of the correct profile can be a work of art in itself, but using Twin Tip Pro Markers means you can take your imitations one stage further, easily matching the colouration of the natural insects. A well-chosen selection of Pro Markers lets you achieve almost any colour without the expense of obtaining avast, range of coloured fly tying materials! Colouration Of Hackles
- For hackled flies, take a pale coloured hackle &, holding it by the stalk, place on a paper background. Using the broad edge of the Pro Markers chisel-tip, brush from the stalk to the tip in one clean movement. Colouration Of Synthetics
- Pro Markers are particularly effective when colouring plastic body materials for two-tone nymphs. They are also good for creating new shades of pearl tinsels forribbings & winging materials. Hair & Fur
- You can use Pro Markers for different colour effects as required. For a distinct, solid effect, add colour to synthetic hairs prior to tying in. For a blended effect colour, add colour after tying has been completed. With dubbing materials, colour before tying in & allow to dry completely before dubbing onto the thread withs ome materials, you may need to tease & blend them after colouring to allow them to dub more easily. With deer hair fish imitations, such as perch, fill in using the paler olive & orange colours first then, when dry, add detailed barring using darker shades. Colours In Set (View Showcase) Black (1), Henna (2), Ruby (3), Orange (4), Canary (5), Lime Green (6), Olive Green (7), Ice Grey 4 (8), Cyan (9) & Prussian (10)
